- We are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, embracing and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
- We are the “little red church” in Cicero, New York, near the corner of Route 31 and Thompson Road.
- We have been an active part of the Cicero community for more than 40 years.
On September 28, 2008, members of Faith Lutheran Church adopted a Mission Statement and Guiding Principles for our Congregation. A Mission Statement is defined as “a brief statement of the purpose.” Our Guiding Principles state the basis of our faith; what our identity is as a Church; and how we operate (plan, and act on our plans) within our Church.
Here is Our Mission Statement:
“As a Community of Faith in Christ, we Live and Share the Gospel of Salvation”.

Through the work of identifying our purpose and guiding principles, Faith Lutheran Church has taken a major step in developing our Lutheran voice.
With our purpose in mind and being accountable to our own guiding principles, God gives Faith Lutheran Church ways to be signs of the reign of God in Cicero and in Central New York. As we engage new people and a culture that may pull us in many directions, our purpose and guiding principles help us to stay centered.
Sharing with the church and the world what God is doing through the work of Jesus is what Lutherans have been about from the beginning. A true Lutheran voice is shared not only by the pastor from the pulpit as we gather on Sundays. A true Lutheran voice shapes what we say and do with our whole lives as we all are sent out to serve as Christ’s presence each day in the world.
