FOR THE LOVE OF READING...
Our Stewardship Team reminds us of our need to work hard on existing ministries and also focus on growth. One of two good books in the Evangelism section of our Library is Reclaiming the "E" Word: Waking Up to Our Evangelical Identity by Kelly A. Fryer. She is the author of two best selling books in the Lutheran Voices Series. Kelly has written this book in a way that catches your attention and brings clear meaning to our mission to share the good news of God's love. There are several copies in the Library. Also, John P. Bowen's Evangelism for "Normal" People approaches the topic with today's world in mind. His method of using Biblical references, his experiences, and questions for us to ask ourselves provides an excellent read. Both of these are timely to us here at Faith Lutheran, so it is a great time to stop at the Library.
NO SUNDAY SCHOOL - there will be no Sunday school the first Sunday of February break, Sunday February 19th. Enjoy your week off with your families.! We will meet at our regularly scheduled time on Sunday February 26th.
